The Holy Spirit is one of the greatest promises that the New Testament has for us. We are not living right if we don’t acknowledge our relationship with Him!

The Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin and unlocks the Bible for us to understand the deeper supernatural mysteries that the natural mind cannot. He shows us the Will of God for our lives and helps us understand how much the Lord Jesus Christ has done for us in His life, death and resurrection. He gives us gifts and produces fruit in us counter to the flesh and world, to testify to God’s power. He is the seal of the living God, the guarantee of our inheritance, and the claim on our souls indicating us as God’s own. It is not simply enough for God to be with us; He must also be within us, because He loves us so much.

Do you believe in Jesus Christ? Do you believe that the bible is the 100% written word of God? If you answer no to either of these questions, then you can rest assured that you are spiritually dead! If you answered yes, then you are alive in Christ and indwelt with His Holy Spirit. Jesus and the Bible have this to say about the Holy Spirit:

Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
— John 16 : 7

And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment.

I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.

Anyone who speaks a word against the son of Man will be forgiven but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
