Okay so we have 9 days until May 20th, 2021. For those of you who love Jesus, this is not just any regular day coming up!
Now I’ve been asked (and explained) many times, how and why May 20th is such an important date. And it’s actually really simple, just a few basic calculations based off of Bible prophecy.
We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by
the Holy Ghost.
2 Peter 1:19-21 KJV
So we’ll break it down real simple for you: Jesus when he walked this Earth lined out clearly exactly what would happen leading up to the end days. He told us that when we see all these things happen, look up because our redemption is near!
More importantly, he gave us the parable of the fig tree. Simply put, he was telling us that when we see these things happen that that generation will not pass before they see the Second Coming of the Son of Man!
Now we find in the book of Psalms that a generation is 80 years. So when you consider that the Jews, after being scattered across the world for 1800+ years (since 70 a.d.), finally got their home back and Israel became a nation back in 1948.
1948 + 80 years = 2028…..
When you factor in the seven year tribulation that comes right before the end…
2028 – 7 years = 2021……
But why May 20th of this year? Why is that date so special? Two reasons: Because of the Revelation 12 sign, which occurred on September 23rd, 2017; and because a very, very peculiar unfulfilled prophecy, that we fine sitting all alone, at the very end of the book of Daniel, chapter 12:
Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
Daniel 12:12-13 KJV
Now, I’m sure you’re seeing it by now, but when you add 1335 days from the date of September 23rd, 2017, you end up right at May 20th, 2021. I implore each and every one of you who read this, to keep your oil lamps filled up, and keep some extra oil on you just in case. Keep watch, you do not want to miss the rapture! If you don’t understand the oil reference, look up the parable of the ten virgins.
