So teach us to number our days, That we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
Psalm 90:12 KJV
Insight:
Realizing that life is short helps us use the little time we have more wisely and for eternal good.
Challenge:
Take time to number your days by asking, “What do I want to see happen in my life before I die? What small step could I take toward that purpose today?”

What good does it do to live long, when we correct ourselves so little? Oh! long life hardly corrects but often leads to more guilt.
If only we would spend a single day in this world as it should be spent! There are many who waste their years since they trusted in Jesus Christ, and look how little fruit it produces for the Lord.
If it is a scary thing to die, it may be even more fearful to live long!
Happy is the one who considers the hour of their death always in the front of their mind, and daily prepares oneself for such.
If you have seen someone pass away, consider that one day you will pass away in a like manner.
Have you trusted in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who was God manifest in the flesh?
Realize there is nothing you can do to be able to stand in front of a Holy and Righteous God unless you put your trust in Jesus Christ, and Our Heavenly Father will clothe you in His own righteousness and gift you everlasting life!
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.
Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV
